Biography
He has litigated hundreds of high exposure product liability, personal injury, wrongful death, premise liability, construction defect, asbestos and employment cases. His current practice consists primarily of conducting mediations and arbitrations. He also continues to represent plaintiffs and defendants in civil matters on a selective basis. Mr. Bostick has mediated over 750 civil cases ranging from complex tort and contract matters involving multiple parties and multi-million dollar disputes to routine motor vehicle and premises incidents. He approaches each mediation with patience, persistence and complete neutrality. He is a firm believer in active pre mediation efforts and follow up if additional work is required to resolve a case. Mr. Bostick has over 150 hours of formal mediation training and before starting his mediation practice, received additional guidance from several of Northern California's most successful mediators. He has been selected to mediate cases for the 1st and 3rd District Courts of Appeal and the Superior Courts of Alameda, San Francisco, Marin, Contra Costa, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Sacramento County. Mr. Bostick is a graduate of the University of California Berkeley and received his J.D. from Golden Gate University. Mr. Bostick has conducted seminars on a number of legal issues for a variety of professional organizations and has published numerous articles for various legal publications including Plaintiff Magazine.
